Many innovative tourists wish to get the best of Seville while they are holidaying there. Hence, it is not surprising that they would opt for day trips to check out Seville than be confined to certain areas of exploration through rigid tour packages or itineraries.

Day trips allow the tourists to decide how much or less they want to take on for the day without tiring themselves. They can book a comfortable hotel or place of stay in Seville where they set up base to make their daily travel arrangements.

Jerez – Cadiz Day Trip

One of the popular day trips from Seville is to Jerez and Cadiz. It costs only 105 € per person and can be booked anytime depending on seats availability. Tourists would be picked up by the tour bus from their hotels in the morning to travel to Jerez. There, one would view the famous bodegas where the local sherry wine can be tasted and tourists get a first hand view of the sherry production at the wineries. There would also be a visit to a famous Equestrian Riding School to enjoy a special horse performance of 1 ½ hours before the entourage moves on to Cadiz.

There would be lots of leisure time to enjoy the historical city before travelling back to Seville in the evening.

Ronda Day Trip

A day trip to Ronda costs only 115 € per person with a hotel pickup in the morning. At Ronda, tourists get to enjoy 3 whole hours of guided tour on famous Ronda attractions such as the local famous bullring and spectacular “Puente Nuevo” bridge. There is about 2 hours of personal time for further private exploration of Ronda before returning to Seville at 6 p.m.

Doñana-El Rocio-Matalascañas Day Trip

One of the more popular day trips has to be the Doñana National Park outside Seville. This is a huge reserved natural park that houses hundreds of flora and fauna species. Animal and nature lovers would love to linger in the vast and cool offerings of Doñana. There are plenty of trails to check out and watchtowers to sight some interesting and rare species of birds.

One can enjoy a four-wheel ride through the park which takes 4 hours before moving on to El Rocio which is famous for its pilgrimage and religious festivals. At the right time of the year lloret de mar, tourists would be able to witness the solemnity of the locals in their pilgrimage journey here. Tourists would get to relax and let their hair down for the whole afternoon at Matalascañas beach.
